THE STORY OF VIBESTOWN

Once upon a time…

Vibestown Productions is an event management and production company that brings nationally recognised music festivals, community and cultural events to Tasmania.

It all began back in 2012 with the nationally renowned Party in the Paddock, attracting ten thousand people annually from around the country to regional Tasmania from 2012-2020. During that time, Vibestown has been at the forefront of national industry standard and youth culture identity, bringing to shore some of the biggest acts and highest production value that the state has seen in the last decade.
Vibestown is also known for events such as The Basin Concert, Til the Wheels Fall Off and Royal Eve and works in with many Tasmanian events such as Junction Arts Festival and Festival of the Voices. With over 10 years of experience and an online audience of 65,000+ Vibestown’s dynamic core team is a well-oiled machine with a big emphasis on quality, community values, team morale, environmental sustainability and core ethos. Vibestown continues to lead the way with curating safe spaces and extra special atmospheres; landing them a 2020 nomination for NME’s ‘Best Australian Music Festival’ for Party in the Paddock, up against Groovin the Moo, Splendour in the Grass, Spilt Milk and Laneway Festival.
With the world looking like a different place in 2021 - with the onset of the current global pandemic - Vibestown have continued on their path of innovation, becoming one of the few event organisers within the country still operating and tackling the ongoing COVID restrictions. In 2021, Vibestown are expanding to the South! With a new second office in Hobart and plans to integrate into the city’s thriving music scene by promoting local and interstate tours, Vibestown are set to enrich the Tassie summer calendar state-wide. Stay tuned…
